The aim of the project was to improve the staff of non-governmental organizations from various EU countries in the field of organizing informal adult education and mutual cooperation in order to enable them to best implement important values of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, such as: human dignity, non-discrimination and cultural, religious and linguistic diversity
From among organizations in various countries whose activities focus on social integration (intercultural and intergenerational) for a harmonious society, we chose those that implement these assumptions through various forms of non-formal adult education.
They were organizers of various “Universities” open to the general public: the University of Three Generations in Berlin and Brussels, the Open University in Budapest, the University of the Third Age in Poland.
